Five Happy Things #2

It's been a while. Here are five things that have made me happy, over the past couple of weeks.

1. Getting my hair done

Oh, that fresh out of the hairdresser feeling! I do love it. I'm currently in the process of growing my hair back into a long, messy bob. Keeping the growing going and resisting the urge to get a fringe and  layers is so difficult but Pinterest is helping. Check out my hairspiration board, if you've got a moment.

2. A great week at work

Next up is my newest adventure in freelance. It's my fifth month, going all out and I'm so glad that I took that leap of faith.
The newest development is working with a local property expert. I'm pretty much rebranding his entire operation. It's a huge responsibility and challenge but exactly the sort of work that I love.
Especially as he is super nice and a top notch professional. I feel so blessed to wake up in the morning and actually want to go to work.

3. Catching up with friends

The lovely Lisa is back from Switzerland for a couple of weeks. We headed to the Lyttelton Arms for cocktails and had a much-needed natter about life in general.

The week before that, I dropped by to see a friend and her gorgeous baby Matilda. I'm still not broody in any way, shape or form but I do love babies. Especially ones that are not my responsibility. Cassy, you're doing a great job.

Then there are the low-key catch-ups that I love so much. You know, popping to your bestie's house with your hair up and a hoody on because after 12 years, she's not going to judge you for it. I am blessed.

4. Month of Mondays 2015

My church has just finished hosting what we now call our annual conference. It takes place over five exciting Monday nights in March.

We saw thousands over the five evenings; we heard from three awesome speakers and two fabulous visiting worship teams. It's been an exciting few weeks and has really got us excited as a church for the rest of this year.

Being a Christian is far from boring and being a part of my church is one of the best decisions I've ever made. I wouldn't be who I am today, otherwise.

5. My new logo

This year, my little copywriting operation is two years old. From the moment Honey Bee Copywriting was conceived as an idea, I have been working to define and improve it. I am so excited about my new logo and our rebranded services. As soon as everything is in place, I'll be revealing it here and on my website.

And that's it for now, folks. I enjoy writing these little round-ups, so I think this shall become a regular feature.

See? So much fringe to grow out. Also, I loved my makeup here | Lipstick - Mulberry by Sleek

Much love,

Melly
